Clay-colored Sparrow
There are a few May and June records, along with a September and November record, of Clay-colored Sparrows, including one found on the South Williamsport river walk during the 2015 PAMC (Pennsylvania Annual Migration Count). A May 9, 2016 record from Canfield Island was seen by many local birders (it was a consolation prize for the birders who unsuccessfully tried to refind the Summer Tanager seen the day before). Small populations of this species nest in Pennsylvania, so it's always a species to keep in mind, especially in May.
