Snowy Owl
Snowy Owl is a rare winter visitor to Lycoming County, with occasional December and January records. This is a species that generally excites both birders and nonbirders, and seeing one is always a treat. If you find one, it's best if you report it quickly (to Lycoming Audubon Society or to us) and get a photo if you can, so that the sighting can be confirmed and recorded.
