Eastern Meadowlark

Eastern Meadowlark is primarily reported in Lycoming County from mid-March through October but also found in small numbers during the winter. The species is found in grassland and farmland habitats. They are often seen at Mill St. flushing from the grass of the airport as planes take off. Lime Bluff Recreation Area is another reliable hotspot to find meadowlarks.
