Blue Jay is a familiar species that is very common year-round in Lycoming County, especially in residential areas. Its distinctive blue, black, and white plumage is unlikely to be confused with any other bird that is regularly seen in the county. If you spend a few minutes looking out a window, there's a good chance you will see one.
