Black Tern
There are a few recent Black Tern records. One is from May 16, 2015 at Rose Valley Lake, which consisted of a flyby after short downpour. Another sighting was August 21, 2016 (numerous downpours throughout the day), and consisted of about 7 flying downstream from the Williamsport Dam, which were relocated in a group of 23 near Commerce Park Drive. August 18, 2017 had sightings near Canfield Island and at Rose Valley Lake. There are also a handful of previous records. The species is likely more common, and possibly even yearly, but is difficult to find, especially with little coverage of Rose Valley Lake.
