Black Scoter

Black Scoter is a rare to yearly species in Lycoming County, with most sightings in April and late-October through early November. The species is primarily found at Rose Valley Lake. Notably, on 6/5/2016, Rose Valley provided what was apparently Pennsylvania's first summer record of Black Scoter.
