Black-bellied Plover is a rare visitor to Lycoming County. The first well-documented sightings were in 2015, but it appears that there was at least one prior record. In 2015, a single bird was found at the Williamsport Dam on 9/13 (eBird Checklist), and was only seen that day. On 9/14, one was found at Mill St. in Montoursville (eBird checklist), and was possibly the same individual. The bird continued to be seen at Mill St. through 9/21.
