It's a Blue-headed Vireo!

Don't let the habitat throw you off for this forest-loving species; remember the date is solidly in spring migration! The stocky build and slightly hooked bill place it in the vireo family, compared to families like kinglets, gnatcatchers, or warblers. This species of vireo is pretty distinctive in our range, with the blue-gray head and bold white spectacles. All similar vireos would be quite rare at the location, and no plumage details really entice us to consider them for this bird.
