Susquehanna State Park
Overview
This 20-acre state park in Williamsport is along the banks of the West Branch Susquehanna River and is home to the Hiawatha Paddlewheeler. The primary birding draw is the open view of the river.
Directions
Take the Reach Road exit of US 220. Take Reach Road east and turn right onto Arch Street. Just before the bridge turn right onto Hiawatha Blvd which will take you down into the state park.

Waterfowl
Open view of the river provides chance to look for waterfowl. Canada geese are very common.
Bald Eagle
Individuals from a nearby nest are often seen.
