Jacoby Falls Trail
Overview
This Loyalsock State Forest out-and-back trail reaches the 29 foot "Jacoby Falls" waterfall in 1.6 miles. A wooden boardwalk takes you across a small wetland into the forest. The beginning part of the trail is heavily forested with conifer trees. As you follow the trail and increase in elevation you are hiking along a creek and pipeline.
Directions
Go north on Route 87 from Montoursville for four miles. Turn left and cross the Slabtown bridge then make the immediate right onto Wallis Run Road and follow it for 4 miles to the gravel parking lot at the trailhead.
